UN mission finds reasonable grounds U.S. committed war crimes in Iran

A United Nations-commissioned human rights fact-finding mission reported Thursday that it found "reasonable grounds" to believe the U.S. military committed war crimes in two airstrikes inside Iran. The strikes allegedly killed civilian casualties, including in a strike on a school in Minab that killed over 150 people, and another airstrike that killed 22 civilians. The U.S. government has rejected the report.

NEWAddition of specific casualty figures: school strike killed over 150 people, second airstrike killed 22 civilians. U.S. rejection of the report now included.
