Leaked Audio: Ken Paxton Complains About John Cornyn's Lack of Support
Leaked audio from a Washington fundraiser reveals that Ken Paxton, the Republican nominee for Texas Senate, privately expressed frustration over John Cornyn's refusal to support his campaign following their contentious GOP primary runoff. Paxton had publicly stated he welcomed Cornyn's endorsement, but the recordings show growing private frustration with the lack of support from the incumbent senator.

Left-leaning outlets frame the audio as evidence of discord within the Republican party and characterize Paxton's private complaints as hypocritical given his public statements seeking Cornyn's backing, potentially damaging to GOP unity efforts.
