GOP Rep. Chuck Edwards drops re-election bid after ethics report

Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-N.C.) announced Wednesday he will not seek re-election following a House Ethics Committee report recommending his censure. The committee found Edwards engaged in persistent unprofessional and inappropriate conduct toward female staff members, including unwanted visits to a staffer's home and unsolicited gifts.
