Man arrested for arson in connection with devastating Spokane-area wildfires

A 37-year-old man from Spokane, Washington was arrested Monday on suspicion of first-degree arson in connection with the Old Trails Fire, one of three devastating wildfires burning in the region. The fires have destroyed over 700 buildings, displaced tens of thousands of residents, and charred hundreds of homes and businesses across the Spokane area.
