Amish Shah Wins Arizona's 1st District Democratic Primary

Dr. Amish Shah, a physician and former Arizona state representative, won the Democratic primary for Arizona's 1st Congressional District. Shah defeated Marlene Galán-Woods, who was backed by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and will face Republican Jay Feely in the November general election in this competitive House race.
